About Nicola Munns

Nicola has over 20 years of experience working as an OT across NHS, local authority, and independent settings. She enjoys working with children, young people and their families and has a special interest in supporting those with developmental coordination difficulties, sensory processing differences, and neurological conditions.

Nicola has experience working in specialist school settings, residential care, and with families navigating the EHCP process. She is currently undertaking postgraduate training in sensory integration. She believes occupational therapy is at its best when it supports children to play, learn and grow in independence, helping them to take part in the everyday activities that matter most to them and their families.

Outside of work, Nicola stays active with netball and yoga, and loves spending quality time with her family and friends.
