About Marcelina

She has a special interest in the assessment of ADHD and Autism, including children and young people where the presentation is also influenced by early attachment disruption or trauma. She is very enthusiastic about offering holistic therapeutic parenting interventions and assessments. This work involves understanding what causes children to behave in certain ways, and to support families to make sense of, and appropriately respond to, the behaviours that children present with.

Marcelina draws on a range of approaches in her work. She is trained in DDP L1 and L2, and applies attachment-based interventions to children who have experienced developmental trauma

Additionally she is also experienced in offering cognitive therapies, such as CBT and ACT
