Aimee Laming is a Speech and Language Therapist
Aimee has worked as a speech and language therapist for over 22 years, both within the NHS and as Director of Speech Therapy Matters LTD, with a special interest in Autism, Dyspraxia and Social Communication. She has enjoyed working as part of a Multi Disciplinary Autism Diagnostic service within the NHS and also within nursery, mainstream and special school settings supporting children and their families.
Aimee feels passionate about helping support social communication and emotional regulation skills across all settings (home, school, and community) and using a strengths model for therapy and assessment.
Aimee has a wide range of experience and particularly enjoys helping families to understand their child’s own unique profile and celebrate their individual strengths. She has completed a comprehensive range of CPD courses relating to her special interest in Autism and is excited about the growth in our understanding of this topic.
Aimee has two girls who are at secondary school, and understands the challenges and joys of a busy family life and has a keen interest in yoga, and open water swimming.
