Hannah is an experienced SEN professional who has experience of working in a number of roles within the field of special educational needs and disabilities.
Hannah worked in local authorities for over 10 years, this included as the manager of a SEND team. Hannah has also worked directly with children and young people with special educational needs as a Residential Child Care Officer.
Hannah has a secure knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and SEND Regulations 2014 and how these should be applied. Having worked within local authorities and having advocated for a number of families Hannah is aware of how complicated the system is and that navigating it for families can be incredible stressful and frustrating. Hannah’s passion is to explain the processes as clearly as possible so that families can be in control of the process themselves.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys spending time with her children and plodding slowly around a local Parkrun.
